So they've found a cure for cancer with virtually no side effects if any but... 100 million dollars are required to do the research legally and the product has no patent hence it is not profitable for pharmaceutical companies. In other words, it ain't gonna happen without the desire of a true philanthropist to get into trouble with one of the biggest worldwide lobbies! :(
